Montage is an exciting and innovative new computer program, and the software has been designed specifically to help the social photographer improve sales and therefore profitability in the market they operate in. This groundbreaking program has been developed in conjunction with Spicer Hallfield and Art Leather.

Work with images, captured with digital or conventional film cameras.
Choose albums, leaves and overlays from both the Spicer Hallfield and Art Leather ranges.
You can edit images within Montage or you can configure Montage to use external applications like Adobe Photoshop.
Proof images to your client and include a watermark for added security.
The Storyboard view can be printed to show a realistic view of the album, complete with overlays.

Not only is Montage a first class client filing system, which allows the easy call up of individual customers details, but the program also allows a photographer the opportunity to construct an album on screen. By using a drop down list of Albums, Leaves and Overlays in either the Spicer Hallfield or Art Leather product ranges "virtual" albums can be designed and held on file, offering new ways to present your work to clients. Images previously imported into the software from either a digital Camera or ones scanned from a negative can be dragged and dropped into an appropriately shaped overlay until an entire album has been assembled. The program also allows for images to be edited such as cropping, turning into black and white or sepia. For those with Adobe Photoshop you can link via the Photoshop icon and import the selected image into that program where you are only limited by your own imagination. |

A storyboard can then be printed off which shows, not only the album but also all the chosen photographs behind a fitting overlay. When printed off they can be assembled into a Digital Preview album along with thumbnail images of all the photographs taken at that particular event. Not only can you produce a storyboard of the album for the Bride and Groom but also for parents, grandparents or to anyone else it is felt it may be appropriate. How many parents, grandparents etc., are going to refuse to buy once they have seen the assembled album? The preview system also overcomes the problem of copyright infringement because images can be presented from four on a page up to twenty-five on a page, and if required a watermark can be put through each photograph. This original preview system can then be taken away by your client to be shown to friends and family to promote further sales. Mont age also has the facility to present professional slide shows of either the finished album, including overlays, or all the images taken. |

After the final selection has been made and the album(s) are complete, all the information is recorded onto a CD. The CD is then sent to Spicer Hallfield who post the information onto a server where our Laboratory Partner of your choice will download individual files and produce prints of the images. One of the time saving benefits of Montage is that it recognizes the XY coordinates of all Spicer Hallfield and Art Leather overlays. So if you have a multi image overlay all the images are printed onto one piece of paper negating the need to have several prints for one overlay, which reduces the cost. The Montage program will also produce a shopping list of all Spicer Hallfield and Art Leather products required to produce each specific album. Alternatively, for photographers with a Broadband connection images can be sent directly to our server to be then downloaded by the Montage Laboratory Partner of your choice, without the need to supply a CD to Spicer Hallfield.

| Further enhancements to our service currently in development include Spicer Hallfield offering an album assembly service, as an option within the Montage program. The Laboratory of your choice would return the prints to us and we would construct the entire album(s) as specified leaving you more time to generate more business. We are also developing e-commerce sites allowing you the opportunity to further expand the potential audience for your images and generate sales from your work at weddings or other events. |
