WHY DYE-SUBLIMATION?

Dye sublimation technology has more than proved itself over the last few years. It holds many advantages over inkjet other printing technologies including:
  • Durable - The protective top cover laminate ensures that prints are as durable as traditional chemical photographs
  • UV resistant - The laminate protects photos against the sun’s UV rays and resists fading
  • Water resistant - The laminate makes the print water resistant
  • Touch dry - The photo will be completely dry to the touch as soon as it comes out of the printer
  • Better image quality - Prints look and feel just like traditional photos with good colour reproduction
  • Cost effective - Large capacity ink/media sheets and the tiny amount of cutting wastage means that costs per print can be more cost effective than other technologies
  • Faster - Improving all the time, dye sublimation prints can be produced in a matter of seconds
